Starting Nov. 1, the City is holding its annual non-perishable food drive to benefit Neighbors, Inc.
When: Nov. 1 through Nov. 30
Where: Bring non-perishable donations to the Veterans Memorial Community Center, and drop them off inside Door A
Food shelf wish list
- Canned and dried fruit
- Canned vegetables, meat and fish
- Plant proteins: dried beans, lentils
- Cooking and baking supplies: flour, sugar, oil
- Pasta and sauces
- Rice, canned or instant potatoes
- Peanut butter and jelly
- Instant meals
- Pancake mix and cereal
- Soup
Personal care items also needed
- Diapers (size 4 & 5)
- Feminine products: tampons and pads
- Toilet paper and paper towels
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap
- Laundry detergent
Last year, over 1,200 pounds of food were collected. Please donate as you are able, and help beat that record!
