ACP Funding Expires
Message from Comcast:
Comcast has been a leader in narrowing the nation’s digital divide for more than a decade. Even with the ACP ending, we will continue to offer a range of affordable options to meet the needs of every budget:
- As the government funding winds down in May, Comcast will offer a $14 credit to all Xfinity ACP customers.
- Part of a new product portfolio, Comcast NOW will offer affordable, pre-paid Internet, mobile, and TV plans to any customer in our service area – including home internet plans starting at $30/month for 100 Mbps and NOW Mobile plans offering unlimited 5G and WiFi hotspot data for $25 per month.
- Every household that has been enrolled in the ACP – whether with Comcast or with any other provider – is eligible for Internet Essentials, offering 50 Mbps internet service for $9.95 per month (equipment included, no credit check, no cancellation fee).
- ACP enrollees can choose to double their speed with Internet Essentials Plus, offering 100 Mbps service for $29.95 per month (equipment included, no credit check, no cancellation fee).
- Comcast will offer all new Internet Essentials Plus customers one line of Xfinity Mobile at no additional cost for up to 12 months.
- We’ll also continue to offer unlimited access to the nation’s largest network of WiFi hotspots through WiFi Pass, for $10 for the first month and $20 per month thereafter.
- Comcast will continue to offer free WiFi in 1,250+ Lift Zones nationwide – including 100+ in the Midwest. Lift Zones, as you know, are local community centers we’ve specially outfitted with business-grade WiFi to ensure families can get online.
If you know of households that will be impacted by the expiration of the ACP, encourage them to call 1-800-Xfinity, to learn more about all the offers available in this area.
Comcast will also work closely with local governments, school districts, healthcare providers, and nonprofits to help families get and stay connected to the internet.

Who and What We Are:
NDC4 is a municipal joint powers cooperative formed in 1982 by the seven cities of Inver Grove Heights, Lilydale, Mendota, Mendota Heights, South St. Paul, Sunfish Lake, and West St. Paul.
To achieve our mission, we provide consumer protection services for cable subscribers and directly oversee government and educational programming (see our government meeting schedule) on Cable Channels, Online, and Social Media. We also administer LOCAL community programming thorough our non-profit corporation, Town Square Television.
The cable commission consists of a city council and citizen representative from each of our member cities. Five of the fourteen commissioners are elected commission officers who form the Executive Committee. The full commission meets on the first Wednesday of every other month (February, April, June, August, October, and December), while the Executive Committee meets during the months in between. Full commission meetings are televised LIVE the first Wednesday of every other month at 7 p.m. on Government Channel 18.

Comcast Storm Preparedness
Don't get caught in the cold. Get ready for winter weather. Winter storm season is here, and we're prepared to get you back up and running when a storm hits. We want to make sure you're ready if the weather interferes with your TV, Internet, or phone service.
Stay informed and stay connected during a storm with these tips:
- Remember to check My Account: It's a quick and easy way to check for outages, contact our care team and check the status of a service call. My Account is accessible with the Xfinity My Account app, online and right on XFINITY X1.
- Download the XFINITY WiFi app: Internet Down? You can quickly locate and connect to XFINITY WiFi hotspots when you need them the most.
- Download the XFINITY TV app: Stuck inside? With the app, you can view live TV and weather updates. Even download shows and movies to watch offline in case you lose power.
If your services does go down, check My Account first to see if there's an outage. If it shows an outage for your address, there is no need to call. If My Account does not show an outage, please let us know so we can alert our technicians. As we work to get everything repaired, you may notice some temporary service interruptions while technicians work to get all the connections restored.
A power outage may impact your XFINITY service. If the power is out, your local utility provider will need to restore power before your XFINITY services can be restored. On occasion, your power may start working before your XFINITY services. In those situations, we ask for your patience- our teams work hard to get your services back up and running so you can be connected again.
