Your voice can influence local decisions, drive important projects forward, and ensure West St. Paul continues to be a place we’re all proud to call home.
The strength of our committees is in being representative of our community. Renters, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and all West St. Paul residents interested in influencing the community in a positive manner are strongly encouraged to apply.
The city is now taking applications for the following committees and commissions:
- Charter Commission: 3 open seats
- Planning Commission: 4 open seats
- Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC): 5 open seats
- Environmental Committee: 3 open seats
The only requirements to serve on a board or commission are being 18 years old, currently living in West St. Paul, and having an interest in participating.
Applications are due February 3, 2025. Interviews will take place the second week of February, with new terms beginning on March 1, 2025.
