Shred and recycle confidential material. Pioneer Secure Shred staff collects and secures material into a locking security container and transports it directly to the mobile shredding vehicle. The materials is deposited directly into the shredding chamber without being touched by human hands. The shredded materials are then sent to a recycler!
Frequently Asked Questions:
- The shred event is free and there is no limit.
- The event is intended for personal use, not for businesses.
- Only confidential material should be shredded. Junk mail like catalogs and advertisements do not need to be shredded and are better off in your curbside recycling bin.
- Papers should be in paper grocery bags or small boxes that can be lifted by one person. Boxes will be emptied and returned to the vehicle.
- Papers should be emptied from binders, folders and large metal clips. Staples and small paper clips are ok.
- Volunteers will be on-site to help unload paper from vehicles.
- The busiest time is at 9 a.m. Come later in the event for a shorter line.
