
IGH Annual Clean-Up Day is Sat, Sept. 21 from 8 a.m. to noon at IGH Public Works Facility (8168 Barbara Ave). Residents of IGH are invited to this one-stop-shop disposal event to get rid of unwanted items.
ACCEPTED ITEMS: Pay to dispose of mattresses, box springs, appliances, electronics, furniture, rimmed tires. Some items are free to recycle at Clean-Up Day, such as bikes, light-duty rimless tires, and confidential paper for secure on-site shredding. Visit www.ighmn.gov/CollectionEvents to find the list of accepted items and prices of disposal, and to learn how vendors will process your items.
NOT ACCEPTED: Household hazardous waste, including paint and chemicals, and construction and demolition debris such as concrete, insulation, asphalt, lumber, shingles are not accepted. Search the online Recycling Guide for local disposal options at www.ighmn.gov/Recycle.
Reminders: Cash and check payment only; please bring small bills. Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, is required. Event will be held rain or shine.
